With Octet, buyers deal with you using their Business Transaction Facility. Exclusive to Octet, a Business Transaction Facility makes it fast and easy for you to be paid for the goods they order from you. It does away with the need for Letters of Credit, Telegraphic Transfers and any other traditional methods of receiving payment.
A Business Transaction Facility gives you security equivalent to a bank LC, but no banks are involved, just you and your overseas buyers transacting through the Octet network. However, as we recognize that you may still prefer the familiarity of an LC, when negotiating with overseas buyers, you can use the Octet network and still have an LC on the order.
